Misao Narita (Ai Mikami), an employee of a trading company, despises her high performer colleague from the same department, Kazuya Ichikawa (Taiki Sato), for his brutally blunt nature, but a turn of events leads to Misao developing feelings for Ichikawa. One day, when Ichikawa tells Misao that he likes her a lot, she feels delighted, but later discovers that he has a girlfriend named Yuko Tadokoro (Umika Kawashima). Though Misao is shocked to hear about Ichikawa's girlfriend, she cannot give up on her love for him. One night, she unexpectedly receives a call from Ichikawa.
