After a long journey alone, a young woman returns home to see an old friend. She is welcomed back, but begins to question whether she even wants to be back in this world. A question that becomes even more prominent at a bonfire with friends that night, where warmth and laughter only deepen her sense of distance. Surrounded by people who believe she has returned for good, she quietly considers whether she wants to remain in the real world at all. Before the night is over, she slips away on her bike, riding back into the great abyss she came from. All she leaves is a note for her friend to read, and it is as if she never came back.
