Adapted from the novel Rosenn by Jean De Kerlecq. A naive young woman, Rosenn, awakens to the joys and pains of passion and the bitterness of deceit. She and Mr. Lafoly an aging writer, fall in love. They elope back to France, ready to live their ‘happy-ever-after’. As passion wanes and Rosenn gets pregnant, Mr. Lafoly plans a betrayal that will forever change Rosenn’s life.
